Information checked on 21 October 2026
The area administered by the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) towards Jewar, where Noida International Airport is located.
Noida International Airport (DXN) was inaugurated on 28 March 2026 and began commercial operations on 15 June 2026. Phase 1 capacity is 12 million passengers a year (NIA). Status: operational. Airport management's expectation of about 5 million passengers in the first 10–12 months is a projection, not a fact (Indian Express). A Ghaziabad–Noida International Airport Namo Bharat DPR has been submitted but the project is not approved (PIB, 6 August 2026). Status: proposed.
YEIDA's International Film City is planned on about 1,000 acres in Sector 21 (YEIDA). As of 15 August 2026, Phase 1 had land and a developer in place, but financial closure was pending and construction had not begun (Free Press Journal). Status: approved; not under construction as of that date.
Airport route growth may be affected by geopolitical volatility (Zurich Airport; Indian Express). Several nearby projects are at DPR or pre-construction stage. Verify YEIDA allotment, lease terms, dues, master-plan land use and UP RERA registration (up-rera.in) where applicable. Take independent professional advice where needed.
